Trip to Mexico November 2011

Mimi came to stay, and Mommy and Daddy got away! Jeff and I took a much needed vacation alone to the Sapphire Now Resort in Puerto, Morelos Mexico. It was definitely 5 of the best days of my life, and we really enjoyed our brief escape from reality and the opportunity to spend some quality time together.

Beautiful day, beautiful view. The high temperature was in the 80's every day, while it was in the 40's back at home! What a treat!

Summer and Fall 2011

Summer and fall were a lot of fun now that Alice was a little older. Alice enjoyed having family over and celebrating the 4th of July, as well as another trip with Jeff's family to Ruidoso. Later we enjoyed a trip to the Tri-State Fair, Halloween, and a visit from Mimi.

Alice's first year

Here are some pictures from Alice's first year. I think I took about 2000 photos, but I tried to pick only a few of my favorites. Watching her grow (so fast!) was amazing and we enjoyed all of her "firsts" including holidays, her first trip to Ruidoso with Jeff's family, her first steps at 9 1/2 months, and her first birthday party in our backyard.

Alice met her great-grandmother for the first time during the late summer. This turned out to be a very special photo, because we lost Maw Maw about a year later.
