A Family Dinner, Labor Day Weekend, and a Trip to Wonderland

As we say goodbye to summer (sort of, the temperature is still 95 degrees), here are some of my favorite pictures from the last couple of weeks.

We also took Alice to Wonderland, and she had the time of her life again this year.  The afternoon was full of ear-to-ear grins!

Goodbye summer!  Maybe if I say it enough times, the temperature won't be in the upper 90s for the entire next 2 months...

Family Vacation at Angel Fire 2013

We took a fun and relaxing trip to Angel Fire with Mimi, the Lowries, and the Reynolds bunch in early August.  It was awesome to beat the Texas heat and enjoy some cloudy skies and high temperatures in the low 70s!  Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip:

Alice was super excited to use a "rainbrella"!  We don't have much use for one at home.

A selfie from our ride with Alice on the ski lift

Mimi, Drew, and Madi paddle boating on the lake

My favorite scenic pic

Drew, Alex, and Alice being silly gooses

This was actually Eleanor's first vacation.  She really enjoyed the trip and all of the attention she got.

Alice had so much fun playing with Madi!

Daddy and his big girl

So crazy to need to wear long sleeves in August!

Aunt Melissa and Eleanor sharing a giggle

A merry-go-round!  I haven't seen one of these in years!

Eleanor enjoying some time at the park

My 3 favorite people:  Jeff, Thing 1 and Thing 2!

Pictures of Mimi with all the grandkids...

This is what most of the photos I took really looked like!

A couple of family pictures with all 4 of us in them!  (Thank you Nicole!)

Alice The Tiny Dancer

Alice had a parent watch day for her ballet and tap class at the end of July.  She is such a little performer.  I got some great pictures (and videos) of her performance, and afterwards we had a mommy-daughter date at her favorite Chinese food restaurant.

My kid: the one turned around backwards showing off!

Tap dancing is serious business...

Our date and King and I.  Daddy was out of town and couldn't make the performance, so we decided to treat ourselves :)
