Another fantastic Father's Day weekend in the books!  These girls could not be any luckier than to have this guy as a dad.  We love you, Jeff!

End of the school year 2016

Alice was selected as a torch runner (one of only 2 Kindergartners!) for her school field day because of her citizenship, hard work, and excellent behavior.  The video is not great, and at some point a few torch runners got passed over, so by the time she was close enough to film, they had slowed to a walk. She is in a purple shirt and black and white pants.  We are so proud of her if even the torch running was kind of a disaster!

How fast time flies!  Eleanor has now moved from Early Preschool to Preschool at both Little Lights Christian ELC and her new school Hunter's Glen.  Here are some pictures of her from her end-of-year performance, and a video of her singing her favorite song, "The Lord's Army".  So cute  She is in the second row second from the right.

It is clear, we no longer have a baby.  We have a smart, funny, head-strong 3-year-old.  It is sad, and also very exciting to see the person she is becoming.  We love you Eleanor Kate!

Later the same week, Alice graduated from Kindergarten.  Here she is with her substitute teacher, (her teacher was on maternity leave. She is growing so fast, our beautiful, smart , sweet little big girl!

Here is a video of her end-of year presentation

Little sister couldn't stand to not be in a picture ;-)

Dear Father Time,

Knock it off!

Sincerely,
Teary-eyed mother

Alice Turns 6!

I can't even believe it.  Why do children grow so fast?  Now we have a 6-year-old, and our little Alice couldn't be happier about it!  Here are some birthday highlights from her party at Skate City, her birthday dinner at Chik Fil A, and finally the special trip to the salon for a mani/pedi to get our girl glammed up for the big "06".  Her 6th birthday interview is at the bottom of this blog post.  These are always hilarious!

This chick is 6!

Here she is celebrating her actual birthday with birthday muffins for breakfast before school.  This girl loves muffins!

She chose to have her birthday dinner at Chik fil A

A couple of weeks later, I took her for special Mommy/Alice time to the nail salon for a mani/pedi.  she was so excited about this, and it will probably have to become and annual tradition.

Easter Stuff 2016

I am so behind on blog updates!  Here are a few pictures of the girls enjoying Easter festivities...

The wait to see the Easter Bunny was 2 hours, so here is a picture NEAR the Easter Bunny!

Easter Sunday begins...everyone was up at 6:00am!

Time for Easter pictures...everyone got a little more agreeable once we headed outside where it was 34 degrees!

New Year's Eve 2015

Nana, Pops, and Cousin Kaizer visited for a few days during for New Year's, so that meant a second Christmas and tons of fun for all! I enjoyed having my family up so much that I didn't waste time taking many photos, but here are a few.

Alice was REALLY excited about the new art painting set! Her expression was priceless.

Eleanor opening new children's CDs for her new boom box.

Happy New Year's Eve from these yahoos!

...and this one too!

Doesn't everyone look at the View Master by straining nearly backwards and aiming it at the ceiling?

Playing Cards Against Humanity with my parents. Totally crazy, and so much fun!

Onward and upward to the next year!  May it bring us all love, health, and happiness!
